Rustins Tung oil is a pure non-toxic oil derived from nuts grown in China. It is completely free from solvents and additives which means it has good penetration into all timber without leaving a film, is highly resistant to water, alcohol and food stuffs and safe for use in contact with food. Tung oil forms a hard wearing natural matt finish making it suitable for kitchen worksurfaces, chopping boards and interior woodwork.

Tung oil will bring out the natural colour of your wood. If required use Rustins wood dye to change the colour before applying.
