Broad Bean (Dwarf) - The Sutton

Lower growing than our other broad beans but just as tasty.

It is ideal if you have a small garden or a very exposed site, where taller beans may suffer wind rock.

To produce a very early crop sow up to February under cloches. These compact plants do not look out of place even if you grow them in the flower border!

If you want your seeds to germinate quickly you can put down a horticultural fleece over the soil – this helps retain the heat in the soil, and doubles up as protection from hungry seed-eating mice.
